An updated draft of the EB-5 program reform bill proposes the reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center program, which lapsed in June 2021, along with several other changes to the EB-5 program.
If this bill is passed, the minimum investment amount for EB-5 would immediately increase
From $500k to $800k for TEA projects
From $1M to $1.05M~$1.1M for non-TEA projects
The increase investment amounts are applied to both direct and regional center program. If the bill is passed as part of the omnibus spending package this week, the new amount will take immediate effect on March 11th, 2022.

These changes to the program may or may not be included in the final language of the bill. It may be modified as the bill is negotiated, and may or may not be passed by Congress.
If everything goes smoothly, the omnibus bill that the EB-5 reform and RC reauthorization bill will be presented to Congress Tuesday (March 7th). The House of Representatives and the Senate will work on Wednesday and Thursday, and President Biden will sign the bill on Friday (which is March 11th).
